Hi everyone!
I'm from Sheffield but my dad was from the Newcastle area {Lintz Colliery-Don't suppose it exists now}.
I'm hoping someone will be able to help me find some relatives.

Hi Chris
Just found your site
I came from London to the North East High Spen near Rowlands Gill in 1956from there
We moved to Quaking Houses near Stanley and left to go to Barnsley in 1964
Cut a long story short I retired in 2006
In 2007 sold up and now live in Costa Calida Spain
Now for one of the reason for my visit to your site
During my life I have spent holidays in many places
A number of times in Malta
On our first visit to Malta we found a pub in Buggeba  St.Pauls Bay
Called Limestone Pub.  Francis (Maltese) the owner over the years had had Geordies in his bar and they taught him Geordie
Believe me you could shut your eyes whilst he spoke and you would swear he was from the toon
He moved from Buggeba to Qawra where he opened a new pub and named it the Little Waster and has themed  it around Bobby Thompson
Now the crunch
Has anyone any Photos of The Limestone pub as Francis is wanting some ?
Is this the best part of the forum  where other members are likely to read this letter
Sorry if this sounds as if it is the only reason for my visit as it is not and now I have joined I will visit often
I still watch to see how Newcastle are going on and keep all things crossed for them to stay up

A man who says he has made no mistakes has probably made nothing

Anyone heard about Pardew's plans for where to play HBA next season? Behind the striker(s)

Interesting read there!
