IMPORTANT QUESTION

I had listened that in Newcastle, near to the castle, there are a very ancient pub, is of  Medieval age, this is true???

The Brewery History Society may be able to assist with your query. Another group that should be able to assist you is the Pub History Society. I hope one of these Societies is able to assist you. Perhaps you would post a message when you hear from them.

Possibly 'The Bridge', just next to the castle. Not 100% sure it dates that far back though.
