Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft Co.

The Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft Co. was established as the Aerial Department of the Sir W. G Armstrong Whitworth & Company engineering group in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1912. The company closed in 1961.

 I would be interested to learn what aircraft this company produced and what happened with its R&D come its demiise in 1961--- Gunner Rear
