I don't know if I am just lucky but I live in Wallsend and the part of town I live in has no problems at all.(touch wood)
I sometimes think that the fear of crime is worse than the actual crime levels.
The tabloid  media which hype this type of thing up don't help.

A live in Jarra, not to bad fo crime were a liv, but one a two of the bairns ad like t export t m*ckemland, vicious n th mam's cud care less.  >:(
