Hello thebes1966,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your post has given very little information about your business. How long have you been in business? Is your business registered and does it belong to a professional body of any description? Are people expected to send money to you prior to receiving an assignment? This type of advert used to appear regularly in magazines and newspapers. Leading Internet fraud watch dogs state that "Home Typing Scams" are one of the highest ranking work-at- home scams on the Internet. You've told people to beware of scammers but have not told them how they should take the necessary precautions. How are people to know that the ads to which they apply are not placed by scammers? BTW what's your location?

Christopher

Hi there.  Many thanks for your comments.  I can understand your concerns about "scamming" as it is commonplace on the internet due to the anonymity of the "scammers."  All I can say is in response; this is not a scam, I have been scammed myself and it is very unpleasant.  All details are in the Training Materials we email to people, which they pay £9.99 for.  I have known others charge A LOT more for similar information.  The reason why the initial ad is vague is that all the details required to be successful are in the Training Materials.

Initially, when I paid for mine I was a bit upset because I thought I was being ripped off.  I even contacted the person via email to tell them this.  However, she told me to persevere with it, read through the Training and I have actually made some money now.  I do say that this is not a Get Rich Quick Scheme (which the Americans seem to be obsessed with, i.e. making $14,000 a week, er no I don't think so) and I try to be as honest as I can without giving too much away, otherwise I would be giving out information from the Training Materials which defeats the object of making money.

I hope this puts your mind at rest.  I will not post anything else in this forum if it offends anyone but a reply would be greatly received.

Many thanks.

Jane

Hiya Jane,

Many thanks for your reply.

I'd a friend in Belfast who was a home typist. She'd worked in offices in the city as well as at Queen's University. She had also worked for an organisation which was involved with raising public awareness in the conservation and preservation of old buildings prior to becoming a home typist. She'd no need to pay money for a book. She had great contacts in the academic, business and professional world in Belfast. The high quality of her work meant that satisfied clients introduced their friends to her. Lecturers, Professors, and students brought work to her as well as authors of books about old buildings in Northern Ireland ... a series of books was published ... her name appeared in the list of acknowledgements in some of them.

Home typing is hard work and not the way to earn a fortune but it can give a person a regular income if they have the right blend of clients and they may get the opportunity to meet interesting people.  I presume that whilst you say you have several openings people aren't employed by you ... do they receive a contract of employment and a wage or a salary or are they regarded as being in the self employed sector and allowed to accept work from other sources?
