Help! Need a bar!

I need some help finding a nice bar as I'm not from Newcastle and don't know the area particularly well!

I'm looking for a nice modernish bar to go to around lunchtime on a Saturday.  One on the Quayside would be nice.  Although they're not on the quayside, Beyond Bar and Tiger Tiger (in The Gate) are both quite nice so anything similiar to these as well would be great.  Food's not essential.

Bit random I know but want to take my boyfriend out for a drink and possibly a meal before going onto somewhere else for his birthday.

A like the Offshore mesel but not really Tiger Tiger material, there's one next door t it a can neva rememba th name but it's very expensive. There's the Pitcher and The Piano near the Millenium bridge, seats outside as well. Enjoy yasels.
