Has it been getting better or worse?

What can be done to improve the cleanliness of our streets?

Charvers aren't just responsible for the litter, they are the litter.  ;)

I think we should make every fast food outlet responsible for picking up their own packaging!

If someone throws a pizza box away, the pizza place should pick it up.  McDonalds - the same (which is something they used to do years ago :))  After all, it's not exactly good publicity for them is it?

Failing that, they should just have litter supervisors, and dish out telling offs, and then fines for 2nd time offenders. (Bit like traffic wardens :))
