Spelling Northumbrain "Crack" as "Craic"
« on: 10:50:48, 09/01/10 »
I was angered recently to see on a pub notice board in Newcastle the Northumbrian (and south Scottish) word "crack" spelled as "Craic". This is copying the London   "irish pub" fashion. Metropolitans are proud of their knowledge of foreign countries and ashamed of the knowledge of their own. We shouldn't be like that.

To right, the only culture the south has is being am*ricanised, and unfortunately it's spreading up here bit by bit. Why do we have high schools, that's an am*rican thing, fortunately my area doesn't have any yet. The list goes on!
